ACM are accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) to carry out assessments for Quality Management, Environmental Management, Food Safety, Occupational Health and Safety and Energy Management. Our accreditation is strictly monitored by UKAS to ensure that we maintain only the highest levels of service to all our clients both in the UK and aboard.

Accreditation is a term that is often misused. Accreditation refers to the certification body and registration or certification is the term that applies to company’s seeking registration to one or more of the international standards.

ISO 9001 – Quality Management System
Registration to ISO 9001 is not only a large marketing benefit; it can also help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of an organisations management system therefore delivering tangible benefits to improve profitability and business sustainability. Like all ISO standards, ISO 9001 is based upon a system of continual improvement called PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act). 

ISO 14001 –  Environmental Management System
Establishing, monitoring and measuring your organisation's environmental aspects and impacts can help reduce waste, save money and make your organisation more attractive to potential clients. Other benefits of registration to ISO 14001 included reductions in waste, energy, CO2 emissions and tangible benefits towards improving the environment in which we live and work. Based on PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act), continual improvement and environmental sustainability are key elements with the standard.

ISO 220000 – Food Safety Management System

For those organisations in the food chain, having a formal food safety management system registered against the requirements of ISO 22000, not only ensures that you have identified and implemented controls against all legal requirements, it is a formal platform to develop improved processes to enhance food safety. This not only allows the organisation to be confident in the safety of the food produced, but also gives the customers an assurance that the food safety management systems employed are delivering safe food for them to pass onto their customer.

ISO 27001 –  Information Security Management System

ISO 50001 – Energy Management Systems

Registration to ISO 50001 by an accredited certification body is only a confirmed alternative in meeting ESOS (Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme) requirements for any business activity that falls within UK government requirements for ESOS compliance by 5th December 2015.

OHSAS 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System
For organisations wishing to demonstrate that they have control over all health & safety activities within their organisation. Having it assessed by an independent accredited 3rd party certification body demonstrates to both internal and external customers effective control over health & safety.
